BOMBARDIER AEROSPACE INTRODUCES SPECIAL EDITION LEARJET 60 BUSINESS JET

"Comprehensive Maintenance, Warranty & Training" package offered for a limited time

Las Vegas, Oct. 11, 2004 – Bombardier Aerospace today announced that the Special Edition Bombardier Learjet 60 midsize business jet – featuring a comprehensive array of avionics and interior options – is now the production standard for new Bombardier Learjet 60 aircraft. Furthermore, all new Special Edition Bombardier Learjet 60 aircraft purchased prior to December 31, 2004 will include a "Comprehensive Maintenance, Warranty and Training" package.

Initially offered for a limited time, positive customer reaction has prompted Bombardier to include the Special Edition package, representing over $1.0 million U.S. worth of options, now standard equipment on the midsize business jet.

"Bombardier has taken another step forward in offering the very best value to Bombardier Learjet operators," declared Peter Edwards, president, Bombardier Business Aircraft. "This package provides the ultimate in comfort, technology and peace of mind. It reaffirms the Bombardier Learjet 60 as the performance and value leader in its category."

The first Special Edition Bombardier Learjet 60 aircraft – the 275th in Bombardier Learjet 60 program history – was delivered last week from Bombardier’s Wichita facility to Unicorp National Development of Orlando, Fla. "The superior quality of this aircraft, both inside and out, convinced us it was the right choice for our nationwide travel needs," declared Chuck Whittall, co-owner of the company with Lee Maher.

The Special Edition Bombardier Learjet 60 business jet currently delivers the most comprehensive, customer-requested list of options in the midsize segment. These include interior appointments such as plated trim, wood veneer and premium carpeting. Entertainment components include a 15.1-inch (38 cm) forward video monitor, a 10-disc compact disc player and a DVD video system. It also features avionics and other equipment such as an Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS), a Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS II) and an auxiliary power unit.

All Special Edition Bombardier Learjet 60 aircraft are fully compliant with U.S. FAR-OPS and European JAR-OPS regulations and procedures.

"Comprehensive Maintenance, Warranty & Training" package This unique package, valued at more than $285,000 US, features 60 months / 2,000 hours of free scheduled maintenance tasks coverage -- expendables and labor -- on Learjet scheduled primary airframe inspections performed at Bombardier Aircraft Service facilities. In addition there is an extended avionics warranty -- from 24 months to a total of 60 months -- on the Rockwell Collins Pro-Line 4 avionics suite.

Total pilot and maintenance training has also been extended to five years, featuring eight additional recurring training sessions for both pilots and technicians. In addition, operators will enjoy preferred rates for fuel, at over 42 locations throughout the U.S., and ground transportation services worldwide through Bombardier’s fuel and ground transportation preferred vendor network.
