WICHITA, Kans.- Brand new to the market, Wilco private label aircraft batteries will save all Cessna Citation owners money and maintenance. The Wilco battery is a Concorde Maintenance Free Valve Regulated Sealed Lead Acid Battery with a Wilco label. FREE Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) paperwork is included with both the Wilco private label and Concorde batteries.

The Wilco battery is available for all Cessna Citation models. No modification is required for any aircraft, and there is no change to the Pilot's Operating Handbook. The battery comes fully charged and ready to install in the aircraft. No maintenance is required, however, a first inspection is required at 12 months or 600 hours, whichever comes first.

The Wilco battery and kit ($1,992) offers a savings over the Concorde battery and kit ($2,242). Cessna offers the same Concorde battery and temp sensor for $2,400. A Ni Cad battery can cost as much as $6,000. STC paperwork is required regardless of battery type if it is new to the aircraft, but is FREE with a battery and kit purchased from Wilco. STC kits include a temp sensor and a temperature sensive plate under the battery. It's important to note that once a new Wilco battery is installed in the aircraft, no new STC paperwork or kit materials are needed again.

And the Winner is...
At the Las Vegas NBAA show Oct. 12th through the 14th, Wilco held a drawing for a free Wilco battery valued at $1,992. Nigel Forrester, Group Sales Director for National Airways & Finance Corporation Limited, from South Africa was the lucky winner. Forrester won out of 70 entries. Congratulations, Nigel!

For more information about Wilco batteries, or to make a purchase, please contact Wilco at (316) 943-3979.
